Robotics Summer Camp With Pearadox & VorTX
Texas Torque will be hosting a robotics camp at our lab this summer alongside Pearadox 5414 and VorTX 3735 to teach FLL (LEGO Robotics) to 5th-8th grade students this summer from July 28-July 30 (1pm-4pm) at The Woodlands College Park High School. The End of the 2022 Season
Texas Torque competed against 75 other teams in the Galileo Division for our last official event of the 2022 season at the FRC Championship in Houston’s George R. Brown Convention Center, marking the team’s 10th consecutive World Championship qualification since 2011! Our team is honored with being awarded the Gracious Professionalism Award!
After competitive qualification matches, Texas Torque ended at the 18th position with a 6-4-0 record. Congratulations to The Cheesy Poofs 254, Up-A-Creek Robotics 1619, Knight Vision 3175, and Fusion Corps 6672 for becoming the World Championship winner after ranking first in the Galileo Division! Although our team was not selected to participate in the Galileo Division playoffs, we are extremely thankful for the opportunity to compete and our team members will cherish the memories that were made at this event!

2022 FiT District Championships
Last week, Texas Torque competed at the FiT District Championships in Houston, Texas!
We ended the District Championships as the quarterfinalist in the Mercury Divison alongside Vector 8177 and Wildcards 7506!
Our team received the Innovation in Control and became the last team in Texas to qualify for the 2022 FRC Championships as a result.
We look forward to seeing all of the teams at the 2022 FRC Championships in Houston, Texas and expect a better performance at the 2022 FRC Championship with our improved subsystems.

2022 FIT District Pasadena
Last weekend, Texas Torque had a blast at our second competition of the season in Pasadena, Texas!
We ended the qualification rounds as the second-ranked team and finished the competition as a finalist alliance captain!
Our chairman’s team also brought home the District Chairman’s Award and won an opportunity to compete again at the District Championship in April.
Texas Torque is now the 6th ranked FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team in Texas as of this writing.
Shoutout to La Cocina de Roberto for catering our team dinner with delicious tacos and fajitas!

Get prepared because Texas Torque is coming back this weekend to Pasadena, Texas with 34 other teams and plenty of ambition! We hope to do our best and want to extend our gratitude to everyone who made this build season great. 2022 FIT District Waco
Last weekend, Texas Torque achieved success at our first competition of the season in Waco, Texas!
We ended the qualification rounds as the fourth-ranked team and finished the competition as an alliance captain that advanced to the finals.
Our chairman’s team won the Engineering Inspiration award, qualifying them to compete at the State Champs in April.
Shreyas, our team’s driver and Safety Captain, as well as our business lead, Macy, received the Safety All-Star award for their commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for everyone.
Texas Torque is now the 12th ranked FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team in Texas because of our incredible, hardworking team.
Thank you to everyone’s support in getting Texas Torque geared up for a week one competition!
