Saturday, February 2nd, nine members of Texas Torque traveled to the Lone Star Convention Center to demonstrate Velociriptar and the fire fighting robots. As part of the Sci://Tech exposition, the team answered questions about robotics, engineering, and FIRST in general. The elementary school aged kids were both fascinated and frightened by the past year’s robot. We met a lot of interesting people and are looking forward to the years when those who attended will be members.
